VENNESUND

"Bindalsfjorden", which has a depth of more than 700 meters. On the outside lies islets and rocks as a protection against the big ocean, and makes it possible to go fishing, even on days with less good weather. The area is known for its good possibilities for fishing in the sea.

TIDE WATER

The difference in water level between high and low tide, is normally 2,5 meters. This is to be considered when boats are moored, but also in the means of fishing, in areas where the current at the bottom of the sea provides food for the fish.

At low tide, large sea bottom areas will dry up an opportunity for both children and adults to explore a different world, with small fish and sea creatures in the remaining water ponds.
