The best time to visit Norway truly depends on what you want to do. June to August promises long days and the fabled midnight sun ideal for hiking, cycling or cruising – but no guarantee of heat, even if it won´t be cold! May and September offer mild temperatures, fewer crowds and gorgeous natural colours.
Norway is characterised by wilderness and beauty and offer you some places with a magnificent viewpoint while you eat, take a bear or drink.
The northern lights are therefore always present. The chances of seeing the northern lights are best viewed in Northern Norway between October and March, because the polar night makes them easier to see. The northern lights are visible in a belt around the magnetic North Pole.
Norwegians begin their English studies around Grades 2-7. However, studying a language at school doesn´t necessarily guarantee fluency. Norway is characterised by wilderness and beauty and can offer exciting experiences. It is important to treat nature with respect, know ones physical limitations and take the necessary precautions.
Good proper equipment is a must and pay attention to local advice about weather forecasts, etc. If you have little "outdoor" experience it is advisable to participate in group outings to be safe.
