 Lakselva river

Lakselva is a river in Finnmark. It begins in Karasjok and runs north through Porsanger into the Porsangerfjorden, a fjord off of the Barents Sea. The 103-kilometre long river runs past the village of Lakselv. The European route E06 highway runs along the river for much of its course.

For many, North Cape is a major tourist centre; you cannot travel any farther north by car than the North Cape.

Regardless of the time of year you visit - with the mystical midnight sun, a spectacular thunderstorm or the magical Northern Lights.
