Classic Norway Hotels are a range of small, charming hotels in unique locations. Our concept is to preserve the history and culture of each hotel, create appropriate activities using the natural surroundings, as well as serving Nordic dishes made from locally supplied food. We have many spectacular hotels in Western Norway and Lofoten forming a perfect setting for your event. We are known for being good hosts, a warm atmosphere, top service and good food. Often we use local raw materials, and our coastal-based systems have the delicacies one central place.
In the West Classic Norway have the following hotels:
Angvik Gamle Handelsted, with it´s 37 grand rooms, restaurant, winecellar, museum, art gallery and spa. This designer hotel is of a very high standard.
Bjorligard Hotel situated amongst the mountains of Romsdal, Trollveggen (known internationally for Basejumping) and Trollstigen (a hairpin bend road snaking its way up the steep mountain side). This hotel has 50 rooms, a restaurant,a spa and a wildlife "gamma" used for social gatherings and après ski.
Out in the open ocean, we have Ona Havstuer and Finnøy Havstuer, Flatflesa Fyr previous trading places for fishermen. There are respectively 13 and 50 rooms, restaurants as well as a spa in Finnøy. For these locations, the Charterboat Nordic Lady with 44 seats is available.
Molde Fjordstuer is situated in the centre of the town of Molde. This has 60 rooms of a high standard, outdoor restaurant and maybe the town´s best a la Carte restaurant.
Next to the Atlantic Ocean Road, is the island of Håholmen. This has been a trading place with a history going back to 1500. A short boat journey takes us out to Håholmen Havstuer with 49 cottages, restaurant, a Viking Hall, a bakery and the use of small boats.
Hotel Utsikten is situated in a spectacular location overlooking the Geirangerfjord, small mountain farms and Ørnesvingen (a hair-pin bend road). The hotel was built in 1893, but has gone through several renovations. There is a lot of history in these walls!
All Classic Norway Hotels can offer a range of activities such as fishing trips, mountain hikes or guided tours of abandoned islands and much more. Here you will experience a light show of the northern lights in winter and midnight sun that shines beyond the seas of Lofoten in summer.
